Oakham Canal Family Easter Trail

This Easter weekend, join a guided trail along the Oakham Canal with a twist – part wildlife adventure, part clue-hunting challenge.

Each child will receive a trail sheet packed with clues and questions, with answers to be found along the route as we walk. From spotting birds to tracking down mini wildlife mysteries, we’ll explore the landscape together while I help guide the group and share stories about what we’re seeing.

It’s all lightly Easter-themed – think signs of spring, hidden details in nature, and a few surprises – with a chocolate egg waiting at the end for every child who completes the trail.

Who it’s for: Children aged 8–16, attending with one or two accompanying adults

Tickets: £15 per child (includes trail sheet and Easter egg) / Free for accompanying adults (up to 2 per family group)

What to bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable shoes, water bottle
