About the event
Join us for a fun and engaging nature walk along the Oakham Canal, specially designed for children aged 8–16 and their grown-ups.
Over the course of two hours, we’ll explore the wildlife that lives along the canal – from birds and bugs to mammals and more. There’ll be hands-on activities along the way to help children learn how to spot signs of wildlife, understand habitats, and enjoy being out in nature.
Children must attend as part of a family group, accompanied by one or two adults. Adult tickets are free, but booking is required.
Who it’s for: Children aged 8–16, attending with one or two accompanying adults
Tickets: £7.50 per child / Free for accompanying adults (up to 2 per family group)
What to bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable shoes, water bottle
